Stanley Todd was born in Jacksonville, FL in 1954 and moved to Wayne County in 1960. Stanley graduated from Wayne County High School in 1973. During his senior year he was voted to be Student Council President.
He attended Georgia Southern College studying Business Administration. While attending Georgia Southern he was elected and served as President of the Georgia Southern Student Body. Stanley also attended Brewton Parker College receiving a Bachelor of Ministry / Pastoral Study degree. After being ordained into ministry he pastored several churches. In 2004, he became Chaplain for Hospice of South Georgia, Inc. and continues to serve in that capacity. In 2015, he established Stanley Todd Ministries, Inc. - a 501c3 charitable organization that offers free Christian Counseling to anyone.
Stanley is married to the former Barbara Brown, a native of Jesup. They have two children and two grandchildren. Stanley and Barbara are members of the Altamaha Baptist Church.
