Tuten Block Building

The Tuten Block Building had the Cohen Mercantile Store that was owned by Jesup Mayor S. E. Cohen.
Located at Walnut at NW Broad Street
An original structure in the central business district when the Broad Streets were central to the town, the Tuten Block Building housed the Cohen Mercantile Store that was owned by Jesup Mayor S. E. Cohen and the Jesup Cigar Company owned by Jesup Businessman Harry W. Whaley.

Sometime during The Prohibition, the building was altered to accommodate the hiding of alcohol. The speakeasy features of the building were discovered during the recent renovation of the building.
