Jesup Water Works Center

The original Jesup Water Tower was also known as a standing water pipe.
Located at Pine at NE Broad Street
The original Jesup Water Tower, also known as a standing water pipe, was constructed as a part of the Jesup water system in 1912. The Light and Water Committee, a sub-committee of the Jesup City Council, guided the installation of the water lines as well as oversight for the installation of electricity. The City Water Department Building was constructed during the time WPA construction was ongoing in the city.
