June 19, 2017 & June 20, 2017 ~ Neighborhood Watch Certification Class

When: 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Where: 642 E. Plum Street (Jesup Police Department)  Cost:  FREE

What: The Jesup Police Department will be hosting a Neighborhood Watch Meeting for ANYONE who would like to attend this meeting to become Certified to start a Neighborhood Watch in their area. This meeting will be held at the Jesup Police Department on Monday June 19th at 7:00 pm. and Tuesday June 20th at 7:00 pm. We will be having Neighborhood Watch Meetings two nights in a row every month for groups that can't make the meeting on Tuesday, Monday is now an option.For more information please contact Sgt. When: 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm  

Where: 642 E. Plum Street (Jesup Police Department)  Cost: FREE

What: The Jesup Police Department is now offering the Women's Self Defense Course June 26h and 27th 2017 at 7:00 pm at the Jesup Police Department. This is a two day course. The course Instructor will be Ted Badami operator of the Wayne Family Fitness Center along with Casey Dunham. This course will show you ways to protect yourself if attacked by an intruder, this is a FREE course. Any questions contact Sgt. JULY 10, 2017 ~ CPR Certification/Training Class

When:  6:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM

Where: 642 E. Plum Street (Police Department)

 The Jesup Police Department will be hosting a CPR Certification/Training Class . This class will be held at 642 E. Plum Street (Jesup Police Department). Upon completion you will be registered as CPR Certified. There will be an $8.00 Fee to cover the cost of your Certification card. You must be at least 12 yrs old or older to participate.

July 13, 2017 – Bullying Awareness Program

When: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Where: 642 E. Plum Street (Police Department)

The Jesup Police Department is now offering a Bullying Program. This is a FREE program that is being offered to everyone who would like to attend. It will be held every month at the Jesup Police Department. This program is for children and their parent(s) that may have experienced bullying at one point or another. We will be going over a bullying power point that explains what a bully is and how to deal with them and the different types of bullying. We also want to know if your child is a victim of bullying. If your child is or has been the victim of a bully we will have Jesup Police Officers and Volunteers standing by during the program to offer support and mentorship.  The Jesup Police Department says "BULLYING MUST STOP", with us working together we can make it happen. Child Car Safety1

July 13, 2017 – Child Passenger Safety Seats Course

When: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Where: 642 E. Plum Street (Police Department)

This course gives you information on the proper use of car and booster seats as well as seat belts with children. The proper use of car and booster seats will be demonstrated. This course will be taught by Jesup Police Officer Cpl. David Parker, Certified Child Passenger Safety Seat Technician. This is a FREE course, any questions contact Sgt.
